Patricia will provide a background to the role of IP Australia, how the agency supports the Australian Government’s foreign aid objectives, and its contribution to international capacity building initiatives such as WIPO-Australia Funds-in-Trust (FIT). Via the FIT program, the Australian Government is able to provide support to the WIPO Re:Search program, which addresses issues relating to the neglected tropical diseases, malaria and tuberculosis.
