Papua New Guinea (PNG) reports 80% of the malaria in the Western Pacific region. Control of malaria is made very difficult in PNG due to very weak infrastructure and many villages lying in very remote areas which are often very difficult to reach.

The presentation explains the challenges and solutions to taking malaria interventions to all 20,000 villages of PNG and the necessity of having imaginative and cost effective interventions to ensure that all areas are reached.
