Andrew Guy First Malaria World Congress 2018

Andrew Guy

Andrew is a PhD student in the Richards/Ramsland/Beeson labs at the Burnet Institute, having graduated from a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in 2012. Andrew’s work is focused on the characterisation of antibody responses against unstructured proteins from the malaria parasite. This involves a combination of computational biology and laboratory based epitope-mapping techniques. This work hopes to identify new targets of protective immunity which can be used as potential vaccine targets against malaria.
