Aung Thi

Aung Thi has been working for National Malaria Control Program (NMCP), Department of Health, Ministry of Health since 2001. He is now Program Manager of NMCP and responsible for program management, coordinating with other implementing partner working for malaria control, dealing with the funding agency and international relations. He was graduated from University of Medicine, Mandalay on 1997 and got Medical Degree. And, 2008, he got Master degree of public health science for human security from Tohoku University of Japan. His interest is malaria control, in concern with community psycho-social development on awareness raising, data management and disease surveillance system. He is now involve in research on malaria prevention and control in the point of community awareness and also working on strengthening of data management and surveillance system for malaria control program of Myanmar.
