The Malaria Elimination Task Force aims to eliminate rapidly Plasmodium falciparum in the Eastern Kayin State of Myanmar. This aim is achievable with the use of malaria posts set up in this region, providing free uninterrupted access to diagnosis and treatment. From 2016, regular monitoring and evaluation visits of these malaria posts has resulted in an abundance of data around malaria post performance and malaria post worker knowledge. Analysis of this data now provides important insight into the impact of malaria posts in the field, and where improvements can be made to ensure elimination targets are reached.
