Neena Valecha
Dr Neena Valecha is the Director of the ICMR - National Institute of Malaria Research, one of the foremost research institutes in India devoted to malaria research. She offers strategic guidance to the National Vector Borne Diseases Control Programme on various aspects of malaria control policy as well as providing scientific and technical guidance in the planning, design, implementation, and management of research projects. Dr Valecha’s research interests include antimalarial drug resistance, clinical development of antimalarials, pharmacovigilance of antimalarials, improving malaria diagnosis and operational research aimed at malaria elimination.
