Evelyn Lavu
Dr. Lavu is currently the Director/Manager, Central Public Health Laboratory (CPHL), since 2008, managing between 25-30 staff from NDOH and partners. CPHL collaborates with partners such as Trilateral Malaria Project, WHO, GFATM, World Vision, CDC, Burnet Institute (BI) and PNGIMR for funding or technical assistance in; quality of diagnosis of tuberculosis (TB), malaria, HIV, food and water microbiology and vaccine preventable diseases. Previously Director of National Blood Service, and Lecturer in Haematology, School of Medicine and health Sciences, University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG) and Haematologist in PMGH.
