HTIN KYAW THU
Htin Kyaw Thu is a medical doctor by training and a public health professional working as Malaria Program Manager at Save the Children International, based in Yangon, Myanmar. He is currently managing the Global Fund’s Regional Artemisinin Initiative 2 Elimination Grant in Myanmar and Greater Mekong Subregion. He is responsible for program management for higher impact, program quality, partners capacity building, and program evaluation. He has extensive experiences in managing and implementing community-based malaria programs in hard-to-reach and vulnerable populations across Myanmar, curtailing Artemisinin-resistance malaria in GMS region while moving towards elimination. He is also an elected representative for Malaria Civil Society Organizations in Myanmar representing at GMS Malaria CSO Platform – for advocacy and regional collaborations.
